Food DESIGNED by GOD

 

Genesis 1:11-12

King James Version

11 And God said, 

Let the earth bring forth grass, 

the herb yielding seed, 

and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, 

whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: 

and it was so.

12 And the earth brought forth grass, 

and herb yielding seed after his kind, 

and the tree yielding fruit, 

whose seed was in itself, 

after his kind: 

and God saw that it was good.

When you become a student of SPIRIT, all that God cares about, you care about.

Your desire is to know EVERYTHING about God, whether it's food for the soul,

Deuteronomy 8:3

King James Version

3 And he humbled thee, 

and suffered thee to hunger, 

and fed thee with manna, 

which thou knewest not, 

neither did thy fathers know; 

that he might make thee know 

that man doth not live by bread only, 

but by every word 

that proceedeth 

out of the mouth of the Lord 

doth man live.

or food for the body.

Genesis 1:29

King James Version

29 And God said, 

Behold, 

I have given you every herb bearing seed, 

which is upon the face of all the earth, 

and every tree, 

in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; 

to you it shall be for meat.

In the process of finding out what pleases God, I learned what Adam's ORIGINAL diet was.

He was only eating produce from "herb bearing seed" and "tree yielding seed".

There was no mention of other foods, but that.

Even animals had a plant-based diet.

Genesis 1:30

30 And to every beast of the earth, 

and to every fowl of the air, 

and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, 

wherein there is life, 

I have given every green herb for meat: 

and it was so.

Life was simple.

Life was good.

Life was in harmony with God.

There was no hardship.

Genesis 2:5-6

5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, 

and every herb of the field before it grew: 

for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, 

and there was not a man to till the ground.

6 But there went up a mist from the earth, 

and watered the whole face of the ground.

God provided everything.

Genesis 2:9

King James Version

9 And out of the ground made the Lord God 

to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, 

and good for food; 

the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, 

and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

God even walked in the garden where man was.

Genesis 3:8

8 And they heard the voice of the Lord God 

walking in the garden in the cool of the day: 

and Adam and his wife hid themselves 

from the presence of the Lord God 

amongst the trees of the garden.

God kept man busy, too.

Genesis 2:15

and put him into the garden of Eden 

to dress it and to keep it.

God did have ONE instruction about what to eat, though.

Genesis 2:16-17

16 And the Lord God commanded the man,

Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, 

thou shalt not eat of it: 

for in the day that thou eatest thereof 

thou shalt surely die.

But the serpent was cunning.

Genesis 3:1-7

which the Lord God had made. 

And he said unto the woman, 

Yea, hath God said, 

Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

2 And the woman said unto the serpent, 

We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

3 But of the fruit of the tree 

which is in the midst of the garden, 

God hath said, 

Ye shall not eat of it, 

neither shall ye touch it, 

lest ye die.

4 And the serpent said unto the woman, 

Ye shall not surely die:

5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, 

then your eyes shall be opened, 

and ye shall be as gods, 

knowing good and evil.

6 And when the woman saw 

that the tree was good for food, 

and that it was pleasant to the eyes, 

and a tree to be desired to make one wise, 

she took of the fruit thereof, 

and did eat, 

and gave also unto her husband with her; 

and he did eat.

It was not made mention what kind of fruit was in the midst of the garden.

But eat the first couple did.

That created the fall from GRACE.

The first disobedience.

Man's life was never to be the same again.

Sin, and hardship, became the order of the day.

Man was now to work for food.

God put out the curse.

Genesis 3:17-19

King James Version

17 And unto Adam he said, 

Because thou hast hearkened 

unto the voice of thy wife, 

and hast eaten of the tree, 

of which I commanded thee, 

saying, 

Thou shalt not eat of it: 

cursed is the ground for thy sake; 

in sorrow shalt thou eat of it 

all the days of thy life;

18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; 

and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;

19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, 

till thou return unto the ground; 

for out of it wast thou taken: 

for dust thou art, 

and unto dust shalt thou return.

Not trusting man anymore, God sealed the garden of Eden from him.

And just to make sure:

Genesis 3:22-24

King James Version

22 And the Lord God said, 

Behold, 

the man is become as one of us, 

to know good and evil: 

and now, 

lest he put forth his hand, 

and take also of the tree of life, 

and eat, 

and live for ever:

23 Therefore the Lord God sent him forth 

from the garden of Eden, 

to till the ground 

from whence he was taken.

24 So he drove out the man; 

and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden 

Cherubims, 

and a flaming sword 

which turned every way, 

to keep the way 

of the tree of life.

Thus, all the hardship, and complications with food now.

And inconceivable sin.

Diseases followed.

Would we ever get back to that original state one day?

Mercifully, the Lord JESUS has a promise, from a prophecy, unsealed, for the Day of the Lord will come.

All will change.

Our bodies will be changed.

Judgment will be meted out.

The faithful will be reunited with God, in His new city.

Food will be used differently.

The tree of life will finally be given freely.

Revelation 22:2

King James Version

2 In the midst of the street of it, 

and on either side of the river, 

was there the tree of life, 

which bare twelve manner of fruits, 

and yielded her fruit every month: 

and the leaves of the tree 

were for the healing of the nations.

The curse will be lifted.

Revelation 22:3-4

King James Version

3 And there shall be no more curse: 

but the throne of God 

and of the Lamb 

shall be in it; 

and his servants shall serve him:

4 And they shall see his face; 

and his name shall be in their foreheads.

Won't you be a student of Spirit, so you, too, may partake of God's love, mercy, and compassion?

It's true was Jesus said.

We are beyond food.

Matthew 4:3-4

3 And when the tempter came to him, 

he said, 

If thou be the Son of God, 

command that these stones be made bread.

4 But he answered and said, 

It is written, 

Man shall not live by bread alone, 

but by every word 

that proceedeth 

out of the mouth of God.

Our existence has always been beyond food.

Our existence is FOR God.

But since we are still on earth, still awaiting the return of the Lord, Spirit allowed me to research on food during the ancient days.

Simple, basic food.

Unlike the vain food turned out by vain men these days.

Be like a child,

forever eager,

for what SPIRIT may teach,

every moment.

It's really all about 

SUCH moments.

The SPIRIT of GOD continues to WOW me, non-stop.

It took this 25th blog, its 31st post, for me to find another REVEALING verse in God's treasure of a BOOK:

John 7:7

King James Version

7 The world cannot hate you; 

but me it hateth, 

because I testify of it, 

that the works thereof are evil.

I don't know about you, but the impact on me -- as a student of SPIRIT -- was like being at JESUS' side in that instant!

It was a GOLD mine of gold mines.

Spirit knew I'd find it.

For He led me to it.

Through that ONE simple, powerful verse, the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD showed me these things:

1. WHY God sent Jesus.

2. WHY the world hates Christ.

3. WHY we must NOT love the world.

Jesus spoke of how evil the world was.

As such, they tried silencing the King Of Kings, and Lord Of Lords, thinking once Christ is gone, His ministry is gone.

Big mistake.

Hebrews 2:14

14 Forasmuch then as the children 

are partakers of flesh and blood, 

he also himself likewise took part of the same; 

that through death 

he might destroy him 

that had the power of death, 

that is, the devil;

The Lord lives on forever.

If you still don't believe that, and are too deeply-ensconced in the ways, and things of the world, then you cannot be of God.

But you can be, if you wake up now, and start believing in JESUS, and making things right with Him.

You can be of God, if you seek Him, with all your heart.

The LORD keeps issuing the invitation.

SCRIPTURE and SPIRIT

 

Romans 8:26

King James Version

26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: 

for we know not what we should pray for 

as we ought: 

but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us 

with groanings which cannot be uttered.

As a GIFT from GOD, prayed for by JESUS, the HOLY SPIRIT helps us understand Scripture, helps us pray, and leads us to all things Jesus.

Through the Holy Spirit of God, we begin to understand the ways of God, the teachings of Jesus, the commandments of God, the way to live, love, and work, in this world.

We greatly need the Spirit's guidance, for the world is steeped in sin, and serves a different master.

Even as there has only been ONE Master.

My personal experience is that the moment I surrendered my will to the LORD's greater will, I felt I was being led to a clear direction.

The more faithful, and diligent you are, the more the Spirit will reveal things to you.

The world does all it can -- through distractions -- to keep you from knowing the way back to God.

But once you surrender completely to God, then He will send His Spirit to give you complete help.

Spirit will lead you to become born again.

You can struggle and resist all you want, but that was a command from Jesus.

You must become born again.

John 3:3

3 Jesus answered and said unto him, 

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, 

Except a man be born again, 

he cannot see the kingdom of God.

It is a pre-requisite, so you can discern the LANGUAGE of SPIRIT.

1 Corinthians 2:14

King James Version

14 But the natural man receiveth not 

the things of the Spirit of God: 

for they are foolishness unto him: 

neither can he know them, 

because they are spiritually discerned.

Soon, you'll find yourself drawn to the Bible.

And marvel at God's story.

The many adventures, and mis-adventures of man.

The legendary love, and patience, of God.

The sacrifices and leadership of Jesus.

The hopes of man, and the promises of Jesus.

Spirit will help you understand Scripture.

Ask ANY question; Jesus will answer -- through Scripture.

Pray in all sincerity to the Lord, and you will surely receive an answer.

I cannot tell you how many times a swift answer was given, every time I'd pray to Jesus for guidance and clarity about something I'm thinking about, or wondering about.

Once you become born again, and devote your life, work, and attention to Jesus, your life will change beautifully, for now, you know where you're going.

Now, you know where you stand with God.

Now, you can make a stand about things that matter.

Now, all your thoughts are backed by Scripture.

Now, you know the true nature of people, and of the world.

Now, you know the importance of obedience to the Lord.

Now, you know how to obey.

Now, you know how to pray.

Now, you know what to pray for.

You will also be taught to wait patiently, for an answer.

And to know if the answer is from the Lord.

Most surely, you will know that, as when you've submitted your will to the Lord, you become His, and you become the Holy Spirit's student.

Never again will you wonder about anything.

All will be made clear by Spirit.

He will lead you to the verses that answer ANY question you may have.

Never again will you look to the world for an answer.

The answers have always been in the Bible, the WORD of GOD.

But now, through Spirit, you can understand perfectly.

How else could I have written all these blogs, unless Spirit guided me to the precise verse, and interpretation.

Interestingly, ALL the ideas, and subjects, came from Spirit.

You see, once you're a true born again, your relationship with the Lord will become sacred, and private.

That's how you can commune with the Lord, in the prayer closet of your heart.

John 16:13

13 Howbeit when he, 

the Spirit of truth, is come, 

he will guide you into all truth: 

for he shall not speak of himself; 

but whatsoever he shall hear, 

that shall he speak: 

and he will shew you things to come.

WORKING Under the SPIRIT of GOD

 

Jonah 2:9

King James Version

9 But I will sacrifice unto thee 

with the voice of thanksgiving; 

I will pay that that I have vowed. 

Salvation is of the Lord.

One important thing you must know, as I write for God:

It is only His DIRECT meaning I care to know.

Purposely why I don't read commentaries from other people what God's Word means.

I let the BIBLE speak to me DIRECTLY.

I wait for the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD to direct me to the EXACT verse, and I pray He enlightens me on what His WORD means.

That's how I best understand the Bible, a baby Christian like myself, only 19 months into being born again.

I only let Spirit speak, lead, and guide me each moment.

By now, His way of teaching me, has been established.

For He does so, in a way I can understand -- every moment of the day.

As I've said many times before, I approach Jesus like a child.

Knowing nothing, and yet wanting to know EVERYTHING about God.

And really letting the Lord speak, through Scripture.

And that's what delights the Lord, for that was His ministry.

He did tell the enemy:

Luke 4:8

King James Version

8 And Jesus answered and said unto him, 

Get thee behind me, 

Satan: 

for it is written, 

Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, 

and him only shalt thou serve.

The Holy Spirit teaches me "all things", in remembrance of Jesus.

John 14:26

King James Version

26 But the Comforter, 

which is the Holy Ghost, 

whom the Father will send in my name, 

he shall teach you all things, 

and bring all things to your remembrance, 

whatsoever I have said unto you.

Thus, I remain true ONLY to the verses the Holy Spirit of God leads me to, or the subjects He wants addressed.

EXACTLY as He wants it delivered.

I don't rely on other people's choices, preference, or interpretations.

I may listen to certain sermons, but in the end, my only guide is the Holy Spirit.

When something is not clear, which strangely, doesn't happen very often, I pray to Jesus to help me understand, or to lead me to Scripture, so I may understand.

Almost instantly, even before my prayer is finished, an answer is given.

I aim never to be wrong about God's instructions, and I can only do that, if my heart and ear are permanently glued to the heart of God.

I listen closely to His words.

I cannot bear to give you an ego-driven choice, which will mislead you.

Self is no more.

I am out of God's way.

I serve His WORD, His TRUTH, His JESUS alone.

That's how I can work as I do, each moment.

In complete attention to the WORD of GOD.

In complete faithfulness to His WORD.

You can be sure about that.

I am completely focused on the LORD.

What He asks me to write, I write.

The verses He directs me to, I study.

Where He wants me to share, I share.

The road He wants me to take, I take.

I am in complete obedience to the will of God.

I am disciplined for the Lord.

How else can I serve Him best, unless I am that way?

He knew who, and what I was, right from the start.

He knew I wasn't going to stop, till I FOUND His TRUTH.

On the day of my complete surrender, He finally started leading me to His Truth.

And heaven began to reside in my heart.

For I serve Him alone.

Everything I write, hear, study, and obey, is straight from God.

Isaiah 1:20

20 But if ye refuse and rebel, 

ye shall be devoured with the sword: 

for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

On Loving GOD's TRUTH

 

2 Timothy 3:16

King James Version

16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, 

and is profitable for doctrine, 

for reproof, 

for correction, 

for instruction in righteousness:

Night and day, I sought the truth of the Lord.

The world failed to give me the truth I sought.

How can it?

It wasn't of God.

Only God could.

When I finally surrendered to God, that's when He led me by the hand, revealing treasures from His WORD.

I became born again, through God alone.

He had appointed a day for that.

But He needed my complete surrender.

Then I began reading the Bible.

And found it contained the following:

1. All the reasons to love God.

2. All the reasons to adore God.

3. All the reasons to fear God.

3. All the reasons God loved us.

The WORD of GOD is really all about LOVE.

His truth was LOVE.

1 John 4:7-8

7 Beloved, 

let us love one another: 

for love is of God; 

and every one that loveth 

is born of God, 

and knoweth God.

8 He that loveth not 

knoweth not God; 

for God is love.

He created heaven and earth.

Genesis 1:1

1 In the beginning 

God created the heaven 

and the earth.

He created us, through Adam.

Genesis 1:27

27 So God created man in his own image, 

in the image of God created he him; 

male and female created he them.

He sent His Son, Jesus, to save us from our sins.

1 John 4:9-10

9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, 

because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, 

that we might live through him.

10 Herein is love, 

not that we loved God, 

but that he loved us, 

and sent his Son 

to be the propitiation for our sins.

He gave warnings, before His wrath will fall upon the wicked.

How can anyone question such love?

It is truth.

When you've found God's TRUTH, you can never go back to who you were.

Your only desire each moment, is to do the will of the Father.

In complete delight, and obedience.

Not waiting for any reward.

God's Spirit, love, and grace, suffice.

Knowing, without Jesus, we can do nothing.

John 15:5

He that abideth in me, 

and I in him, 

the same bringeth forth much fruit: 

for without me 

ye can do nothing.

Only God can give us strength.

Isaiah 41:10

He gives us peace.

He gives us hope.

Romans 15:13

He gives us rest.

Matthew 11:28

28 Come unto me, 

all ye that labour and are heavy laden, 

and I will give you rest.

He makes everything possible.

Matthew 19:26

26 But Jesus beheld them, 

and said unto them, 

With men this is impossible; 

but with God 

all things are possible.

We must commit ourselves to Jesus -- the WORD of GOD -- so we may know how to love.

Going FISHING with the LORD

 

Acts 16:31

31 And they said, 

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, 

and thou shalt be saved, 

and thy house.

The Lord Jesus is amazing.

Of how He observes our daily lives.

Luke 5:1-2

King James Version

5 And it came to pass, that, 

as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, 

he stood by the lake of Gennesaret,

2 And saw two ships standing by the lake: 

but the fishermen were gone out of them, 

and were washing their nets.

Of how He makes a tiny request.

Luke 5:3

3 And he entered into one of the ships, 

which was Simon's, 

and prayed him 

that he would thrust out a little 

from the land. 

And he sat down,

 and taught the people out of the ship.

As a gift, He helps us "fish".

Luke 5:4

4 Now when he had left speaking, 

he said unto Simon, 

Launch out into the deep, 

and let down your nets for a draught.

And of how we tell him of our own experience.

Luke 5:5

5 And Simon answering said unto him, 

Master, 

we have toiled all the night,

Still, we do as He asks.

I will let down the net."

And get astounded by the results.

Luke 5:6

Beyond our wildest imaginings.

Luke 5:7

which were in the other ship, 

that they should come and help them. 

And they came,

so that they began to sink.

Causing us to be ashamed.

Luke 5:8

8 When Simon Peter saw it, 

he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, 

Depart from me; 

for I am a sinful man, 

O Lord.

And yet astounded.

Luke 5:9-10

9 For he was astonished, 

and all that were with him,

which were partners with Simon...

But Jesus had a more important mission for us, beyond fishing for food.

Luke 5:10

"...And Jesus said unto Simon, 

Fear not; 

from henceforth 

thou shalt catch men."

In our belief, we drop everything, and follow the Lord.

Luke 5:11

King James Version

11 And when they had brought their ships to land, 

they forsook all, 

and followed him.

And Jesus makes clear what matters most.

Luke 12:22-23

King James Version

22 And he said unto his disciples, 

Therefore I say unto you, 

Take no thought for your life, 

what ye shall eat; 

neither for the body, 

what ye shall put on.

23 The life is more than meat, 

and the body is more than raiment.

Asking us to focus on one thing, which will take care of the supply.

Matthew 6:33

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, 

and his righteousness; 

and all these things shall be added unto you.

This we must know.

When the Lord Jesus calls:

Mark 1:17

King James Version

17 And Jesus said unto them, 

Come ye after me, 

and I will make you 

to become fishers of men.

We are to follow.

Mark 1:18

King James Version

18 And straightway they forsook their nets, 

and followed him.

There is no other fish to fry, but the one supplied by the Lord.

And yes, He offers us a complete meal.

We shall never hunger, nor thirst again.

In body, and in spirit.

Jesus is truly the Lord of supply, and of SPIRIT.
