Genesis 1:11-12

King James Version

11 And God said, 

Let the earth bring forth grass, 

the herb yielding seed, 

and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, 

whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: 

and it was so.

12 And the earth brought forth grass, 

and herb yielding seed after his kind, 

and the tree yielding fruit, 

whose seed was in itself, 

after his kind: 

and God saw that it was good.

When you become a student of SPIRIT, all that God cares about, you care about.

Your desire is to know EVERYTHING about God, whether it's food for the soul,

Deuteronomy 8:3

King James Version

3 And he humbled thee, 

and suffered thee to hunger, 

and fed thee with manna, 

which thou knewest not, 

neither did thy fathers know; 

that he might make thee know 

that man doth not live by bread only, 

but by every word 

that proceedeth 

out of the mouth of the Lord 

doth man live.

or food for the body.

Genesis 1:29

King James Version

29 And God said, 

Behold, 

I have given you every herb bearing seed, 

which is upon the face of all the earth, 

and every tree, 

in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; 

to you it shall be for meat.

In the process of finding out what pleases God, I learned what Adam's ORIGINAL diet was.

He was only eating produce from "herb bearing seed" and "tree yielding seed".

There was no mention of other foods, but that.

Even animals had a plant-based diet.

Genesis 1:30

King James Version

30 And to every beast of the earth, 

and to every fowl of the air, 

and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, 

wherein there is life, 

I have given every green herb for meat: 

and it was so.

Life was simple.

Life was good.

Life was in harmony with God.

There was no hardship.

Genesis 2:5-6

King James Version

5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, 

and every herb of the field before it grew: 

for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, 

and there was not a man to till the ground.

6 But there went up a mist from the earth, 

and watered the whole face of the ground.

God provided everything.

Genesis 2:9

King James Version

9 And out of the ground made the Lord God 

to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, 

and good for food; 

the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, 

and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

God even walked in the garden where man was.

Genesis 3:8

King James Version

8 And they heard the voice of the Lord God 

walking in the garden in the cool of the day: 

and Adam and his wife hid themselves 

from the presence of the Lord God 

amongst the trees of the garden.

God kept man busy, too.

Genesis 2:15

King James Version

15 And the Lord God took the man, 

and put him into the garden of Eden 

to dress it and to keep it.

God did have ONE instruction about what to eat, though.

Genesis 2:16-17

King James Version

16 And the Lord God commanded the man, 

saying, 

Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:

17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, 

thou shalt not eat of it: 

for in the day that thou eatest thereof 

thou shalt surely die.

But the serpent was cunning.

Genesis 3:1-7

King James Version

3 Now the serpent was more subtil 

than any beast of the field 

which the Lord God had made. 

And he said unto the woman, 

Yea, hath God said, 

Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

2 And the woman said unto the serpent, 

We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

3 But of the fruit of the tree 

which is in the midst of the garden, 

God hath said, 

Ye shall not eat of it, 

neither shall ye touch it, 

lest ye die.

4 And the serpent said unto the woman, 

Ye shall not surely die:

5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, 

then your eyes shall be opened, 

and ye shall be as gods, 

knowing good and evil.

6 And when the woman saw 

that the tree was good for food, 

and that it was pleasant to the eyes, 

and a tree to be desired to make one wise, 

she took of the fruit thereof, 

and did eat, 

and gave also unto her husband with her; 

and he did eat.

It was not made mention what kind of fruit was in the midst of the garden.

But eat the first couple did.

That created the fall from GRACE.

The first disobedience.

Man's life was never to be the same again.

Sin, and hardship, became the order of the day.

Man was now to work for food.

God put out the curse.

Genesis 3:17-19

King James Version

17 And unto Adam he said, 

Because thou hast hearkened 

unto the voice of thy wife, 

and hast eaten of the tree, 

of which I commanded thee, 

saying, 

Thou shalt not eat of it: 

cursed is the ground for thy sake; 

in sorrow shalt thou eat of it 

all the days of thy life;

18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; 

and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;

19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, 

till thou return unto the ground; 

for out of it wast thou taken: 

for dust thou art, 

and unto dust shalt thou return.

Not trusting man anymore, God sealed the garden of Eden from him.

And just to make sure:

Genesis 3:22-24

King James Version

22 And the Lord God said, 

Behold, 

the man is become as one of us, 

to know good and evil: 

and now, 

lest he put forth his hand, 

and take also of the tree of life, 

and eat, 

and live for ever:

23 Therefore the Lord God sent him forth 

from the garden of Eden, 

to till the ground 

from whence he was taken.

24 So he drove out the man; 

and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden 

Cherubims, 

and a flaming sword 

which turned every way, 

to keep the way 

of the tree of life.

Thus, all the hardship, and complications with food now.

And inconceivable sin.

Diseases followed.

Would we ever get back to that original state one day?

Mercifully, the Lord JESUS has a promise, from a prophecy, unsealed, for the Day of the Lord will come.

All will change.

Our bodies will be changed.

Judgment will be meted out.

The faithful will be reunited with God, in His new city.

Food will be used differently.

The tree of life will finally be given freely.

Revelation 22:2

King James Version

2 In the midst of the street of it, 

and on either side of the river, 

was there the tree of life, 

which bare twelve manner of fruits, 

and yielded her fruit every month: 

and the leaves of the tree 

were for the healing of the nations.

The curse will be lifted.

Revelation 22:3-4

King James Version

3 And there shall be no more curse: 

but the throne of God 

and of the Lamb 

shall be in it; 

and his servants shall serve him:

4 And they shall see his face; 

and his name shall be in their foreheads.

Won't you be a student of Spirit, so you, too, may partake of God's love, mercy, and compassion?

It's true was Jesus said.

We are beyond food.

Matthew 4:3-4

King James Version

3 And when the tempter came to him, 

he said, 

If thou be the Son of God, 

command that these stones be made bread.

4 But he answered and said, 

It is written, 

Man shall not live by bread alone, 

but by every word 

that proceedeth 

out of the mouth of God.

Our existence has always been beyond food.

Our existence is FOR God.

But since we are still on earth, still awaiting the return of the Lord, Spirit allowed me to research on food during the ancient days.

Simple, basic food.

Unlike the vain food turned out by vain men these days.

The GOSPEL of JESUS CHRIST:

1 Corinthians 15:3-4

3 For I delivered unto you first 

of all that which I also received, 

how that Christ died for our sins 

according to the scriptures;

4 And that he was buried, 

and that he rose again the third day 

according to the scriptures:

The Holy Spirit is always precise.

He led me to more understanding about the Lord's resurrection today.

Here's what He taught me, at 3:33 this morning.

He led me to the number 3.

So I reviewed my book on Vallowe's Scripture Numerics, and found the number 3 referred to the "RESURRECTION, DIVINE COMPLETENESS and PERFECTION".

The resurrection of Christ was also compared to -- yes, THREE -- instances:

1. On the sign of the prophet Jonas:

Matthew 12: 39-40 

King James Version

39 But he answered and said unto them, 

An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; 

and there shall no sign be given to it, 

but the sign of the prophet Jonas:

40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights 

in the whale's belly; 

so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights 

in the heart of the earth.

2. On the restoration of Israel:

Hosea 6:1-2 

King James Version

6 Come, 

and let us return unto the Lord: 

for he hath torn, 

and he will heal us; 

he hath smitten, 

and he will bind us up.

2 After two days will he revive us: 

in the third day he will raise us up, 

and we shall live in his sight.

3. On the temple of His body:

John 2:20-21 

King James Version

20 Then said the Jews, 

Forty and six years was this temple in building,

 and wilt thou rear it up in three days?

21 But he spake of the temple of his body.

All referred to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus on the THIRD day.

Of course, there are many more implications of the number 3.

But that will be for future posts.

When you're a student of Spirit, you will marvel at the richness of the Bible.

With the richness of the world, paling greatly in comparison.

Only by being born again -- what Jesus calls "born of water and of the Spirit" -- can we understand things of the Spirit.

1 Corinthians 2:14 

King James Version

14 But the natural man receiveth not 

the things of the Spirit of God: 

for they are foolishness unto him: 

neither can he know them, 

because they are spiritually discerned.

The world will have many versions of what they think Scripture is.

And their interpretation of it.

But like I always say, I approach God like a little child.

Knowing nothing, wanting to know EVERYTHING of Him.

Only the Holy Spirit can direct us accurately.

For He is the teacher of all things.

Jesus did say:

John 14:26 

King James Version

26 But the Comforter, 

which is the Holy Ghost, 

whom the Father will send in my name, 

he shall teach you all things, 

and bring all things to your remembrance, 

whatsoever I have said unto you.

If you really wish to know Jesus, you must be born again.

It was His command.

The Day JESUS was GLORIFIED

 

JESUS said:

John 16:5 

King James Version

5 But now I go my way to him that sent me; 

and none of you asketh me, 

Whither goest thou?

God is the MASTER of PRECISION, and EFFICIENCY.

The day Jesus went back to heaven, was the day the Holy Spirit was given to man.

Can you see the precision of it?

There was no gap in the giving.

But Jesus blessed His apostles first.

Luke 24:50-53 

King James Version

50 And he led them out as far as to Bethany, 

and he lifted up his hands, 

and blessed them.

51 And it came to pass, 

while he blessed them, 

he was parted from them, 

and carried up into heaven.

He was also clear why he had to "go away".

John 16:7 

King James Version

7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; 

It is expedient for you that I go away: 

for if I go not away, 

the Comforter will not come unto you; 

but if I depart, 

I will send him unto you.

But He promised us "another Comforter".

John 14:16-17 

King James Version

16 And I will pray the Father, 

and he shall give you another Comforter, 

that he may abide with you for ever;

17 Even the Spirit of truth; 

whom the world cannot receive, 

because it seeth him not, 

neither knoweth him: 

but ye know him; 

for he dwelleth with you, 

and shall be in you.

From which, these things are to be expected:

John 16:8-15

8 And when he is come, 

he will reprove the world of sin, 

and of righteousness, 

and of judgment:

9 Of sin, 

because they believe not on me;

10 Of righteousness, 

because I go to my Father, 

and ye see me no more;

11 Of judgment, 

because the prince of this world is judged.

12 I have yet many things to say unto you, 

but ye cannot bear them now.

13 Howbeit when he, 

the Spirit of truth, 

is come, 

he will guide you into all truth:

 for he shall not speak of himself; 

but whatsoever he shall hear, 

that shall he speak: 

and he will shew you things to come.

14 He shall glorify me: 

for he shall receive of mine, 

and shall shew it unto you.

15 All things that the Father hath 

are mine: 

therefore said I, 

that he shall take of mine, 

and shall shew it unto you.

We were not left orphaned.

That's how merciful God is.

The LORD JESUS assured us:

John 14:18 

King James Version

18 I will not leave you comfortless: 

I will come to you.

Now, we have the Holy Spirit to guide us, each time.

All it takes, is a prayer, to know God's will -- through Jesus.

And the Holy Spirit will give you the answer.

Believest thou this?

How little we know, of the mysteries of CHRIST!

And of the grave disservice given Him.

Which He literally carried to His grave -- to a point.

Of how they called the Lord, the deceiver, upon His death.

Matthew 27:62-63

62 Now the next day, 

that followed the day of the preparation, 

the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate,

63 Saying, 

Sir, 

we remember that that deceiver said, 

while he was yet alive, 

After three days I will rise again.

And of how Pilate became uncertain, and afraid, lest he suffer public disgrace.

Matthew 27:64

64 Command therefore 

that the sepulchre be made sure 

until the third day, 

lest his disciples come by night, 

and steal him away, 

and say unto the people, 

He is risen from the dead: 

so the last error 

shall be worse than the first.

And of how he took extra precautions.

Matthew 27:65-66

And exactly as the angel announced, they met the Lord.

Matthew 28:9

9 And as they went to tell his disciples, 

behold, 

Jesus met them, 

saying, 

All hail. 

And they came and held him by the feet, 

and worshipped him.

The Resurrection of Jesus simply shows He is our one, true HOPE.

He has set the pattern for us.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 

King James Version

13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, 

brethren, 

concerning them which are asleep, 

that ye sorrow not, 

even as others which have no hope.

14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, 

even so them also which sleep in Jesus 

will God bring with him.

How little we really know of Christ.

Unless, and until we become born again.

Then, the Spirit of God will complete our education.

Unless Jesus died, He cannot be resurrected.

What man designed as a grave disservice to the Lord, the Lord merely used to REVEAL His power over death, and the devil -- transforming us all, and giving hope, where there is hope.

Hebrews 2:14 

King James Version

14 Forasmuch then as the children 

are partakers of flesh and blood, 

he also himself likewise took part of the same; 

that through death 

he might destroy him 

that had the power of death, 

that is, the devil;

Know the difference between man-made creation, and God-given knowledge.

We Shall ALL Be CHANGED

 

1 Corinthians 15:51

King James Version

51 Behold, 

I shew you a mystery; 

We shall not all sleep, 

but we shall all be changed,

Awaken to the TRUTH of CHRIST!

For us to meet Jesus up in the air, we have to don a new body. 

We cannot do so in our old bodies,of flesh, blood, and sin.

That is not acceptable to the Lord.

1 Corinthians 15:50 

King James Version

50 Now this I say, brethren, 

that flesh and blood 

cannot inherit the kingdom of God; 

neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

Our old, defiled bodies must be changed.

In the twinkling of an eye, at the sound of the last trumpet, our bodies will be changed.

1 Corinthians 15:52-54 

King James Version

52 In a moment, 

in the twinkling of an eye, 

at the last trump: 

for the trumpet shall sound, 

and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, 

and we shall be changed.

53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, 

and this mortal must put on immortality.

54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, 

and this mortal shall have put on immortality, 

then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, 

Death is swallowed up in victory.

That will be the time Jesus will appear in the sky, and His faithful -- the dead, and the living -- will come up to meet Him.

Why, then, this obsession with this flesh that we have?

Why the lust, the vanity, the greed, and idolizing bodies?

These bodies are not acceptable to God.

We are steeped in sin.

To be able to meet the Lord, we will need a spiritual body.

1 Corinthians 15:39-44 

King James Version

39 All flesh is not the same flesh: 

but there is one kind of flesh of men, 

another flesh of beasts, 

another of fishes, 

and another of birds.

40 There are also celestial bodies, 

and bodies terrestrial: 

but the glory of the celestial is one, 

and the glory of the terrestrial is another.

41 There is one glory of the sun, 

and another glory of the moon, 

and another glory of the stars: 

for one star differeth from another star in glory.

42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. 

It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:

43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: 

it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:

44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. 

There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

That's why we have to become born again, so we may understand things of the Spirit.

Only the teacher of all things can make things clear for us.

We must be born of water and of the Spirit.

Only by following this command of JESUS can we enter the kingdom of God, in our changed bodies.

To be alive in Christ, we must be dead to sin.

1 Corinthians 15:34 

King James Version

34 Awake to righteousness, 

and sin not; 

for some have not the knowledge of God: 

I speak this to your shame.

Our mortal bodies hold us back.

These keep us obsessed with self, and idolatry.

We need to wake up to the Lord.

1 Corinthians 15:57 

King James Version

57 But thanks be to God, 

which giveth us the victory 

through our Lord Jesus Christ.

All who love Jesus, await this glorious moment.

Which can occur ANYTIME God chooses.

These have been prophesied.

And it shall be so.
