12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying,
I am the light of the world:
he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness,
but shall have the light of life.
On the day of your surrender to the greater will of the LORD, His HOLY SPIRIT will start guiding you.
You will want to become born again.
It's the only way you can understand the path of Spirit.
God knows your heart.
He will know how to work WITH you.
Expect everything that is worldly, to fall away.
Don't be surprised if you have no need for the trappings of the world, such as greed, vanity, and so-called comforts dictated by the world.
That falling away becomes automatic.
Your work will change.
How can it not?
You're now following the SPIRIT of GOD.
Spirit will now define your work for you.
And it will be for GOD's GLORY alone.
In fact, that is a sure gauge of walking with the Lord.
That everything you think, say, and do, serves the LORD alone.
1 Corinthians 10:31 (KJV)
31 Whether therefore ye eat,
or drink,
or whatsoever ye do,
do all to the glory of God.
Again, it becomes automatic.
You have surrendered your will, after all.
You are now God's own.
How is it possible you won't know what His will is?
Spirit will guide you.
EVERY step of the way.
Nothing formal about it.
But expect it to be immediate prompts.
Pride will fall away.
That is definite.
God hates proud people.
He will make sure your heart is for Him alone.
Spirit will lead you to what you need to think, speak, and do.
He will lead you to safe places, and lead you to no harm.
Your life and work won't cause harm to others, either.
Spirit will make sure of that.
You will start quoting from Scripture.
And honoring the WORD of GOD as your ONLY reference.
Your approach will be Berean.
Acts 17:10-11 (KJV)
10 And the brethren immediately sent away
Paul and Silas by night unto Berea:
who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews.
11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica,
in that they received the word with all readiness of mind,
and searched the scriptures daily,
whether those things were so.
Scripture has become your main reference.
This may unnerve many people.
But it's only because the SPIRIT of the LORD has not been welcomed in their hearts yet.
God wakes us up, at His OWN perfect time.
Your only focus is on things of God.
You will not even worry about how the world seems to be going, or failing.
Your focus is on JESUS alone.
Colossians 3:1-2 (KJV)
3 If ye then be risen with Christ,
seek those things which are above,
where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
2 Set your affection on things above,
not on things on the earth.
You whole life is set upon the WORD of GOD.
Psalm 119:105 (KJV)
105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet,
and a light unto my path.
Your whole life is entrusted to the LORD alone.
Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV)
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him,
and he shall direct thy paths.
And there is peace in your heart.
1 Corinthians 14:33 (KJV)
33 For God is not the author of confusion,
but of peace,
as in all churches of the saints.
The Holy Spirit of God leads the way.
Every step is clear, and confident.
For you are following the SPIRIT of TRUTH.
John 4:24 (KJV)
24 God is a Spirit:
and they that worship him
must worship him in spirit
and in truth.
You are filled with the Spirit of God, and know what matters most in life.
Ephesians 5:18-20 (KJV)
18 And be not drunk with wine,
wherein is excess;
but be filled with the Spirit;
19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns
and spiritual songs,
singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God
and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
What could be a better existence?
By now, you know the world runs the opposite way.
Only through the Spirit of the Lord do we have life, and liberty.
2 Corinthians 3:17 (KJV)
17 Now the Lord is that Spirit:
and where the Spirit of the Lord is,
there is liberty.
We know what love really means.
1 John 4:7-10 (KJV)

let us love one another:
for love is of God;
and every one that loveth is born of God,

for God is love.

How can one not have peace?
And joy.
And clarity.
And everything of Jesus?
You know what you must do.
If your aim is to get clear.
And to live right, by GOD.
Take that first step.
SURRENDER to GOD now.
