King James Version
17 But the wisdom that is from above
is first pure,
then peaceable,
gentle,
and easy to be intreated,
full of mercy and good fruits,
without partiality,
and without hypocrisy.
As always Jesus presents the WORD of GOD in the simplest way possible.
Listen to what the Lord taught us.
Someone asked:
Mark 12:28
King James Version
28 And one of the scribes came,
and having heard them reasoning together,
and perceiving that he had answered them well,
asked him,
Which is the first commandment of all?
And Jesus answered:
Mark 12:29-30
King James Version
29 And Jesus answered him,
The first of all the commandments is,
Hear,
O Israel;
The Lord our God is one Lord:
30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God
with all thy heart,
and with all thy soul,
and with all thy mind,
and with all thy strength:
this is the first commandment.
No wonder, God hates idolatry so much.
And other forms idolatry is an abomination to God, too.
And yet, the world continues to disrespect God, and challenge His authority.
Is it really so difficult to follow the law Jesus spoke of?
Is God so unlovable, people have a hard time worshiping Him alone?
Is the world's offer of prestige, power, and popularity more attractive than having eternal life with Jesus?
As a student of Spirit, and born again, I can assure you, when you seek God with all your heart, aiming to know only His Truth, He will send you His Holy Spirit, to teach you EVERYTHING about Jesus.
Things of the world will fall away.
Your only desire will be to serve God, know His Truth, and worship Him.
Your faithfulness is in God alone.
You will experience the GREATEST journey, ever!
And the second commandment?
It's simple, too!
Listen to what Jesus spoke of:
Mark 12:31
King James Version
31 And the second is like,
namely this,
Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
There is none other commandment greater than these.
These two commandments must be our FOUNDATION for everything.
I learned that from Jesus:
Matthew 22:40
King James Version
40 On these two commandments
hang all the law
and the prophets.
We must really meditate upon the beauty, and enormity, of these two simple commandments.
