How GOD deals with EVIL

Psalm 37:13-15

King James Version

13 The Lord shall laugh at him:

for he seeth that his day is coming.

14 The wicked have drawn out the sword,

and have bent their bow,

to cast down the poor and needy,

and to slay such as be of upright conversation.

15 Their sword shall enter into their own heart,

and their bows shall be broken.

We all know what happened to Israel on October 7.

How seven nations have ganged up on her.

How do you think GOD will respond?

Israel's enemies can expect this from the LORD:

Deuteronomy 28:7

King James Version

7 The Lord shall cause thine enemies

that rise up against thee

to be smitten before thy face:

they shall come out against thee one way,

and flee before thee seven ways.

And if you think unbelieving Jews are spared, witness how an evil spirit dealt with SEVEN exorcists who tried speaking in the name of JESUS:

Acts 19:13-17

King James Version

13 Then certain of the vagabond Jews,

exorcists,

took upon them to call over them

which had evil spirits

the name of the Lord Jesus,

saying,

We adjure you by Jesus

whom Paul preacheth.

14 And there were seven sons of one Sceva,

a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so.

15 And the evil spirit answered and said,

Jesus I know,

and Paul I know;

but who are ye?

16 And the man in whom the evil spirit was

leaped on them,

and overcame them,

and prevailed against them,

so that they fled out of that house

naked and wounded.

17 And this was known

to all the Jews and Greeks

also dwelling at Ephesus;

and fear fell on them all,

and the name of the Lord Jesus

was magnified.

Even evil knows a "fake" when it sees one.

And responds accordingly.

Evil only challenges GOD.

The SOURCE of ALL TRUE POWER.

That's why it persecutes Israel, whom He loves.

Evil is that bold, brash, and brazen.

Wanting a real fight.

Well, he shall have it.

GOD doesn't play "favorites".

If you are in sin, you are in sin.

GOD will deal with that.

In the same manner, His salvation is for all.

Romans 10:13

King James Version

13 For whosoever shall call

upon the name of the Lord

shall be saved.

Galatians 3:28-29

King James Version

28 There is neither Jew nor Greek,

there is neither bond nor free,

there is neither male nor female:

for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed,

and heirs according to the promise.

So, don't challenge GOD.

We're no match for the LORD.

If you're not born again, don't expect to know GOD's ways.

Take note of the following sets of "7":

The Seven Enemies of Israel in the Promised Land

The SEVEN seals

The SEVEN trumpets

The SEVEN last plagues

The 7 churches

SPIRIT and the 7 churches

The number "7"

TORNADOES and ELECTIONS

Matthew 20:25-27

King James Version

25 But Jesus called them unto him,

and said,

Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles

exercise dominion over them,

and they that are great

exercise authority upon them.

26 But it shall not be so among you:

but whosoever will be great among you,

let him be your minister;

27 And whosoever will be chief among you,

let him be your servant:

What do politics have to do with tornadoes?

What do tornadoes have to do with politics?

Surely, I'm off my rocker?

Seeing a connection, where many may not.

Consider these things:

The 5 February 2008 primaries:

"The event began on Super Tuesday, while 24 states in the United States were holding primary elections and caucuses to select the presidential candidates for the upcoming presidential election"

-- Wikipedia

They called it:

"Giga Tuesday", "Mega Giga Tuesday", "Tsunami Tuesday" or even "Super Duper Tuesday"

-- Wikipedia

Then a STRANGE thing happened:

"The 2008 Super Tuesday tornado outbreak[2] was a deadly tornado outbreak which affected the Southern United States and the lower Ohio Valley on February 5 and 6, 2008.

The outbreak generated 87 tornadoes over 15 hours from the afternoon of February 5 until the early morning of February 6.

A total of 57 people were killed across four states and 18 counties, with hundreds of others injured."

-- Wikipedia

Eighty-seven tornadoes hit that VERY same day.

Talking about Super, Giga, Mega Giga, Tsunami, and Super Duper.

And I'm not talking about the primaries.

We really have to watch our words.

What's most unusual is this:

"Missouri, Illinois, Arkansas, Alabama, and Tennessee were among the affected regions in which primaries were being held."

-- Wikipedia

Another CURIOUS thing was this -- notice the phrase in bold letters:

"To increase importance of their votes, 24 states with over half the delegates to the national conventions moved to change their primary dates to February 5, 2008, creating the largest "Super Tuesday" to date."

-- Wikipedia

That means, February 5 wasn't the original primary date.

I don't know what was, but all that matters for this post is that the date was MOVED to February 5.

The VERY same day the tornado outbreak occurred.

If you don't appreciate these strange connections, then you haven't really worked with SPIRIT.

He gives me ALL the clues, prompts, guidance, and verses.

I'm only able to tell you all these because of SPIRIT.

And we always connect world events with Scripture.

In our two tornado articles* the past days, we've acknowledged the power GOD has over EVERYTHING.

Isaiah 40:21-24

King James Version

21 Have ye not known?

have ye not heard?

hath it not been told you from the beginning?

have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth?

22 It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth,

and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers;

that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain,

and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:

23 That bringeth the princes to nothing;

he maketh the judges of the earth as vanity.

24 Yea, they shall not be planted;

yea, they shall not be sown:

yea, their stock shall not take root in the earth:

and he shall also blow upon them,

and they shall wither,

and the whirlwind shall take them away

as stubble.

Was GOD displeased about something?

Did it have something to do with the candidates for president?

Did GOD know what those politicians were up to?

Surely, for only GOD knows our hearts:

1 Samuel 16:7

King James Version

7 But the Lord said unto Samuel,

Look not on his countenance,

or on the height of his stature;

because I have refused him:

for the Lord seeth not as man seeth;

for man looketh on the outward appearance,

but the Lord looketh on the heart.

Psalm 14:2

King James Version

2 The Lord looked down from heaven

upon the children of men,

to see if there were any that did understand,

and seek God.

Jeremiah 17:10

King James Version

10 I the Lord search the heart,

I try the reins,

even to give every man according to his ways,

and according to the fruit of his doings.

And you know what Scripture reveals about man?

Romans 3:9-10

King James Version

9 What then?

are we better than they?

No, in no wise:

for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles,

that they are all under sin;

10 As it is written,

There is none righteous,

no, not one:

Romans 3:11

King James Version

11 There is none that understandeth,

there is none that seeketh after God.

Romans 3:12

King James Version

12 They are all gone out of the way,

they are together become unprofitable;

there is none that doeth good,

no, not one.

Romans 3:23

King James Version

23 For all have sinned,

and come short of the glory of God;

Surely, GOD knows candidates' agendas.

He knows EVERYTHING we have in our heart.

ESPECIALLY when it pertains to His chosen nation.

Unless politicians love GOD, they cannot love others.

Unless they are a true born again, they won't accept His laws.

Unless they're taught by SPIRIT, they can't possibly understand Scripture.

Unless they believe in JESUS, they can't lead perfectly.

We will always fall short.

What of the forthcoming 2024 U.S. presidential election?

"The 2024 United States presidential election will be the 60th quadrennial presidential election, set to be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.Voters will elect a president and vice president for a term of four years. Incumbent President Joe Biden, a member of the Democratic Party, is running for re-election.[2] His predecessor Donald Trump, a member of the Republican Party, is running for re-election for a second, non-consecutive term, after losing to him in 2020."

-- Wikipedia

The ONLY thing that caught my eye?

"the 60th quadrennial presidential election"

And all I can say is UH-OH.

The number "60" stands for "PRIDE".

"Keys to Scripture Numerics" says so.

King Solomon's words come to mind:

Ecclesiastes 1:1-2

King James Version

1 The words of the Preacher,

the son of David, king in Jerusalem.

2 Vanity of vanities,

saith the Preacher,

vanity of vanities;

all is vanity.

Numbers matter to GOD.

He OWNS numbers.

He created it.

I merely connect the dots.

Through SPIRIT.

PERPETUAL note-taker

Deuteronomy 8:3

King James Version

3 And he humbled thee,

and suffered thee to hunger,

and fed thee with manna,

which thou knewest not,

neither did thy fathers know;

that he might make thee know

that man doth not live by bread only,

but by every word that proceedeth

out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live.

Perhaps, I was born with a pen in hand.

Always taking down notes.

Always writing something.

Always jotting down ideas.

Often class secretary in high school.

Often assisting my father to write down stuff.

Often supplying the word, or words, people look for.

Having a perpetual love for words.

Delighting in word play.

Knowing many books reside in my heart.

Not knowing how, or when, that would occur.

Until one day, GOD made me born again.

And everything finally made sense.

I was little scribe to the LORD.

I took down notes.

The day He led me to the Bible.

Some 636 moons ago.

Notebooks, index cards were filled with verses that called to me.

Even scraps of paper, such as back of receipts, were not spared.

You can see proof from the photo above.

I could not write fast enough, for the volume of material.

Scripture was so rich in GOD's TRUTH!

I marvel at how people can claim to have read the Bible.

At least THREE times.

The whole Bible?

Wow.

I'm still a work in progress.

SPIRIT takes me where He will, each day.

He inspires, guides, explains, gives clues.

And lets me piece it all together.

Possibly delighting in my devotion.

How can anyone not delight in the WORD of GOD?

It's PURE love, truth, mercy, glory, and wisdom from GOD!

It's the most exciting story that happened, is happening, and will still happen.

I know EXACTLY what apostle John meant when he said:

John 21:25

King James Version

25 And there are also many other things

which Jesus did, the which,

if they should be written every one,

I suppose that even the world itself

could not contain the books

that should be written.

Amen.

I doubt I'd be able to read the Bible, in full, THREE times.

Only because EVERY word speaks to me.

The King James Version has 783,137 words.

I linger, with EVERY word.

EVERY word speaks volumes.

EVERY word becomes another clue.

EVERY word opens an idea, for writing.

EVERY article leads to another.

EVERY blog leads to another.

Now, we have over a hundred blogs.

I may need several lifetimes to read the Bible, in full.

Of course, I'm exaggerating.

I only have this lifetime.

Hebrews 9:27

King James Version

27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die,

but after this the judgment:

Perhaps, my LORD will forgive my inability to read the Bible, from cover to cover, in one sitting.

So, I marvel at anyone who can do that.

I need SPIRIT to explain everything to me.

To find the true meaning of each word.

To remain true to GOD's WORD.

To know EXACTLY what JESUS means.

To get things right, EXACTLY as GOD commands.

Bear note that there are many Bible versions.

GOD led me to the King James Version.

The Old English style became easy for me to understand.

Strange, but true.

I haven't veered since.

Turned out, many abide by KJV.

And all I do is follow SPIRIT.

Wherever He takes me.

This is His nature, after all:

John 3:8

King James Version

8 The wind bloweth where it listeth,

and thou hearest the sound thereof,

but canst not tell whence it cometh,

and whither it goeth:

so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

Note-taking is a compulsion.

A delight.

A desire.

A discipline.

An offering, back to GOD.

A reflection of my complete attention.

Undivided.

Undistracted.

Unimpeded.

I am GOD's little child.

Forever with pen in hand.

The BIGGER picture

1 Corinthians 2:10

King James Version

10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit:

for the Spirit searcheth all things,

yea, the deep things of God.

It was a very dangerous world I used to live in.

Only because I had been ignorant for a long time.

When you don't know GOD's laws, you are ignorant.

And that puts you in great danger -- subject to the ways of the world.

Once GOD makes you born again, ah, then, you become aware.

GOD gives us His SPIRIT to guide us.

Teaching us the ways of JESUS.

It's the only way we can survive in this world.

Don't expect the world to speak truth.

It doesn't have the capability to do so.

It has a different agenda.

It's wired differently.

Serving its own purpose.

JESUS spoke of it:

Luke 16:15

King James Version

15 And he said unto them,

Ye are they which justify yourselves before men;

but God knoweth your hearts:

for that which is highly esteemed among men

is abomination in the sight of God.

The apostles spoke of it:

2 Corinthians 4:4

King James Version

4 In whom the god of this world

hath blinded the minds of them which believe not,

lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ,

who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

James 4:4

King James Version

4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses,

know ye not that the friendship of the world

 is enmity with God?

whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world

is the enemy of God.

The Bible gives us enough warning.

But how many listen?

How many care to know?

All my blogs, and posts, warn us all the time.

I have Scripture to back up my findings.

Scripture is the only book I live by.

I trust is completely.

For it is the WORD of GOD.

2 Timothy 3:16-17

King James Version

16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God,

and is profitable for doctrine,

for reproof,

for correction,

for instruction in righteousness:

17 That the man of God may be perfect,

thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

There is no other reference to live by.

Scripture contains GOD's TRUTH.

Which happen to be the teachings of JESUS.

Who only lived to obey GOD's WILL.

If there's one tough lesson, that's really it.

To know GOD's WILL, and to FOLLOW it.

Only because people would rather do their thing.

When, all along, GOD's WILL is there to guide us.

In every aspect of JESUS' life, He showed us what it was.

And how we may obey, with joy, gladness, and focus.

Obedience to GOD is the only thing to do.

The world will teach you the opposite.

To defy GOD's WILL.

And that's where problems begin.

In direct defiance of GOD's commands.

The world will keep doing what it does:

Matthew 24:37-38

King James Version

37 But as the days of Noah were,

so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

38 For as in the days that were before the flood

they were eating and drinking,

marrying and giving in marriage,

until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

Until such time GOD decides, "ENOUGH, is ENOUGH!"

And sends His Son for the Rapture.

Matthew 24:39-42

King James Version

39 And knew not until the flood came,

and took them all away;

so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

40 Then shall two be in the field;

the one shall be taken, and the other left.

41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill;

the one shall be taken, and the other left.

42 Watch therefore: for ye know not

what hour your Lord doth come.

Every day we're alive, is a chance to get right with GOD.

Every day we're alive, is a chance to be born again.

Every day we're alive, is a chance to know GOD's laws.

Every day we're alive, is a chance to be saved.

Every day we're alive, is a chance to repent.

Each day is PURE grace.

Ephesians 2:8-9

King James Version

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith;

and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

But for the LOVE of the LORD, we'd all perish.

2 Peter 3:8-10

King James Version

8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing,

that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years,

and a thousand years as one day.

9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise,

as some men count slackness;

but is longsuffering to us-ward,

not willing that any should perish,

but that all should come to repentance.

10 But the day of the Lord

will come as a thief in the night;

in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise,

and the elements shall melt with fervent heat,

the earth also and the works that are therein

shall be burned up.

Let us not be complacent.

Let us not be proud.

Let us not be foolish.

Let us seek GOD.

While we still can.

HUNGER for TRUTH

Philippians 4:8

King James Version

8 Finally, brethren,

whatsoever things are true,

whatsoever things are honest,

whatsoever things are just,

whatsoever things are pure,

whatsoever things are lovely,

whatsoever things are of good report;

if there be any virtue,

and if there be any praise,

think on these things.

What makes SPIRIT show up?

Giving us the gift of knowledge?

Gracing us with His presence?

Teaching us JESUS' ways?

Here's what I found:

Have a HUNGER for TRUTH.

Pay ATTENTION to EVERYTHING.

Know WHO to ask.

If you're childlike, you'll pay attention to everything.

If you're jaded, you don't want to be bothered by anything.

Well, I've always been childlike.

Eager to learn.

Curious about most things.

Asking so many questions.

Bugging GOD all the time.

What was ABSOLUTE truth?

Doing TONS of research.

Reading TONS of books.

Learning from TONS of jobs.

Making TONS of mistakes.

I was such a sponge for learning.

Filing away things in my mind.

Knowing one day, the pieces will fit.

That day came when GOD made me born again in 2019.

He took everything to the highest form of learning.

Learning became focused on JESUS alone.

SPIRIT teaches me all I need to know.

Always, through Scripture.

From prayers, waiting, listening, taking notes, sharing with you.

Pretty soon, TONS of blogs were created.

Which keep growing every few days.

Night and day is devoted to GOD alone.

In His WORD, I delight in.

In His LAWS, I obey.

In His SCRIPTURE, I live.

Reminding me of King David's psalm:

Psalm 119:97-106

King James Version

97 O how love I thy law!

it is my meditation all the day.

98 Thou through thy commandments

hast made me wiser than mine enemies:

for they are ever with me.

99 I have more understanding than all my teachers:

for thy testimonies are my meditation.

100 I understand more than the ancients,

because I keep thy precepts.

101 I have refrained my feet from every evil way,

that I might keep thy word.

102 I have not departed from thy judgments:

for thou hast taught me.

103 How sweet are thy words unto my taste!

yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!

104 Through thy precepts I get understanding:

therefore I hate every false way.

105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet,

and a light unto my path.

106 I have sworn,

and I will perform it,

that I will keep thy righteous judgments.

GOD, Who loves us, teaches us, and warns us.

We must be ready for the Rapture.

You would not want to be in the Tribulation.

The CHRISTIAN life

Titus 2:12

King James Version

12 Teaching us that,

denying ungodliness and worldly lusts,

we should live soberly, righteously, and godly,

in this present world;

The CHRISTIAN life is a disciplined life.

We revere the ways of GOD.

We delight in obeying the will of GOD.

We believe in JESUS, and rely on Him, for everything.

We are taught Scripture, by the HOLY SPIRIT.

We are born again.

We live by the Bible.

We do the following:

1. "denying ungodliness and worldly lusts"

2. "live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world"

Here's what those two sets of phrases mean:
