Why we NEED the HOLY SPIRIT

 

Job 33:4

4 The spirit of God hath made me, 

and the breath of the Almighty 

hath given me life.

This has been in my heart the past three days.

How, through the HOLY SPIRIT, I was led to Bible prophecy.

On the very same day GOD made me born again, too -- some six years ago.

And how the HOLY SPIRIT made me understand Scripture quite easily, too.

Wherein He taught me to "rightly divide" Scripture, in words, phrases, and verses, which aided in my studies, and writing ministry.

2 Timothy 2:15

15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, 

a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, 

rightly dividing the word of truth.

How?

By stages.

As I got better at each.

By letting each Word sink in first.

What a GLORIOUS TEACHER the HOLY SPIRIT Is!

First , He made me focus on each word.

Second, He grouped a set of words for me to understand,

Third, He made me comprehend one verse at a time.

Every verse He made me study, and share, had to be taken a word, a phrase, or a verse at a time.

Then we graduated on to chapters.

But He also taught me about "context".

Wherein a verse in not isolated, but part of the bigger whole.

What a neat way to study GOD's WORD!

I had no idea His intention.

Until we started creating blogs.

One blog created more blogs.

Eventually, we ended up creating 113 blogs.

Each blog had dozens of articles, even hundreds.

Every blog explored what the world was doing.

And what GOD wanted us to do instead.

How is this all possible?

It's all SPIRIT.

How can I have very few hours sleep, and yet wake up refreshed, mind buzzing, heart singing, as the world still sleeps in slumber (well, at least in my similar time zones).

But you also know the "sleep" this born again watchman speaks of.

And it is a slumber that is precarious.

For those who have no care, or knowledge, of CHRIST.

I only understand the Bible because of the HOLY SPIRIT.

I only love GOD even more, because of Him.

I only appreciate JESUS, because of SPIRIT.

I only write articles daily, because of Him.

There is no other SPIRIT that does that for me, in me, and through me, but the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD.

I've been there, folks!

Those days when I'd look at any other book, BUT the Bible.

When I was intimidated by the thickness,  or "gravity" of such book.

When I didn't know how to interpret it, or make sense of it.

But the day came when I was ready for it.

At a time GOD decided.

Only because five months before GOD made me born again, I had made a declaration.

That I was sick of sin, and self.

I needed to change.

I wanted to know ABSOLUTE TRUTH.

I repented of my many sins.

I wanted REAL change in my life.

I was tired of the old.

That seems to be all GOD was waiting for, at least, in my case.

But would I hold the cause?

Could I sustain the desire for change?

Would I see it through?

Who could help me get through the process?

That's why I felt GOD showed up only five months after.

That was the essential "waiting" period.

"Addictions" had "withdrawal" periods.

Were my "addictions" over?

Was I through with the old self?

Seems I had enough determination to do so.

Thereafter, GOD showed up on 6 September 2019, and led me to Bible prophecy right away.

Starting with Zechariah.

Then the four gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

And of course, SPIRIT imprinted upon my mind that we need to start from the VERY beginning.

Genesis.

And in the first two verses alone, the old self was wiped out.

For these words virtually captivated me:

Genesis 1:1-2

1 In the beginning 

God created the heaven and the earth.

2 And the earth was without form, and void; 

and darkness was upon the face of the deep. 

And the Spirit of God moved 

upon the face of the waters.

SPIRIT was RIGHT there!

He was the ONE I was LOOKING FOR, all along!

That, in essence, was how GOD made me born again.

Mention of His SPIRIT made me acknowledge His POWER.

I finally got to know ABSOLUTE TRUTH.

GOD loved us, and sent His SON.

When the Jews rejected JESUS, and He went back to the Father, sitting at His right hand, giving us the promise of Resurrection, He did not leave us orphaned.

He prayed to the Father for the HOLY SPIRIT.

And now, every TRUE believer is being taught by SPIRIT.

How else can we interpret the Bible?

How else can we know the world's ways?

How else can we know man's ways?

How else can we know the mind of the enemy?

How else can we know the past, present, and future?

How else can we understand GOD, and JESUS?

Again, only through the HOLY SPIRIT.

Throughout my studies -- for over six years now -- SPIRIT led me to the truth, and supporting verses, I had been searching for ALL my life.

You see, I had been a bookworm all my life.

I lived, and breathed, books and words.

GOD made me "wired" for words.

And now, His SPIRIT wired me for His WORD.

How can you keep a parched child from the LIVING WATER that is CHRIST?

His WORD fed me every single day.

I drew my articles from His WORD.

The veracity of everything was tested through Scripture.

Every news in the world had to conform to what Scripture says.

Never again did I buy, or search other books for ABSOLUTE TRUTH.

They couldn't give it to me anyway.

They had not, and could not.

Only the Bible sufficed.

And that's all the work of the HOLY SPIRIT.

My being born again.

My turning to Scripture.

My understanding of it.

My writing turning better.

My thoughts getting clearer.

My increasing knowledge of JESUS.

My increased love for GOD.

My devotion to His WORD.

That's all, through SPIRIT.

And that's why I would never want to lose that "anointing".

When you've got His SPIRIT, you would never want to stray again.

GOD made me childlike all my life.

That's why it's easy for me to grasp His knowledge.

Because I'm excited to know His truth.

And I'm teachable.

I'm a thirsty child for His TRUTH.

I'm an expectant child for His answers.

I'm a deliriously happy child when I get those answers.

I'm jumping jelly beans at the prospect of sharing those discoveries with you.

My "method" for getting answers, or seeking protection, was simple.

I just pray to GOD as a child would.

"Please help me, GOD!"

"Please show me!"

"Please help me understand!"

I'm not sophisticated.

That is of the world.

I am purposely simple.

Because I am nothing without GOD.

John 15:5

5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: 

He that abideth in me, and I in him, 

the same bringeth forth much fruit: 

for without me ye can do nothing.

He makes everything possible.

And one day, I shall know everything.

many other things which Jesus did,

All these initial, preparatory knowledge, the SPIRIT of the LORD gave me, the day He made me born again.

You have got to be born again, to know what born again feels like.

Nothing in this world is more exciting than to be with JESUS.

Nothing is more magnificent than knowing His TRUTH.

To know Him, to love Him, and to be SAVED by Him.

He already set His eye on me many decades ago.

Through a dream where He was, "in place of a tabernacle".

He actually gave me THREE dreams about Him.

And one on the HOLY SPIRIT.

Yes, decades before GOD made me born again.

Of course, SPIRIT showed me all that.

And helped me understand, now that I'm born again.

He was tasked to -- especially for sinners.

JESUS did promise this about SPIRIT:

John 14:26

26 But the Comforter, 

which is the Holy Ghost, 

whom the Father will send in my name, 

he shall teach you all things, 

and bring all things to your remembrance, 

whatsoever I have said unto you.

John 15:26 

King James Version

26 But when the Comforter is come, 

whom I will send unto you from the Father, 

even the Spirit of truth, 

which proceedeth from the Father, 

he shall testify of me:

Pray to know more about JESUS.

GOD's SPIRIT will take care of the rest.

But you can also start by being aware of your sins.

And repenting of it.

And lastly, to sin no more.

But you'll need the HOLY SPIRIT to teach you all that.

In the clearest way only GOD can.

In the simplest way He designed for you to understand.

And in a way that pleases Him, with us conforming to His WILL.

Each our path is HOLINESS.

Being made perfect for the LORD.

And being ready for when JESUS comes.

Acts 3:19

and be converted,

when the times of refreshing 

shall come from the presence of the Lord.

1 Corinthians 2:10

10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: 

for the Spirit searcheth all things, 

yea, the deep things of God.

I don't know about you, but for myself, as born again watchman, I always listen to the HOLY SPIRIT's prompts.

Like last night, I was already prepared to sleep, when He made me review my late brother's timeline.

Of when he started feeling sick, and not able to work anymore, to the time he ended up in the hospital.

And this is what I found:

-- THREE days of medication, where it normally only took one day to get his feet going from gout.

-- FOUR days at home, trying to recuperate, where he preferred to be.

-- THIRTY-TWO days in the hospital, until JESUS took him home.

That's a total of 39 days my brother truly suffered.

Then, on a "hunch", of course -- it was SPIRIT's prompt -- I looked at my reference book regarding the number "39".

Ed. F. Vallowe's "Keys to Scripture Numerics" gave this lone verse:

2 Chronicles 16:12

King James Version

12 And Asa* in the thirty and ninth year of his reign 

was diseased in his feet, 

until his disease was exceeding great: 

yet in his disease he sought not to the Lord, 

but to the physicians.

And what an EXACT verse it was!

I nearly fell off my bed in awe.

It's almost everything my brother went through.

-- The number 39 (days for my brother; year for king Asa)

-- "diseased in the feet"

-- "until his disease was exceeding great"

-- "he sought not the Lord"

-- he sought the "physicians"

-- the number was connected with "DISEASE"

Taking note of where SPIRIT led me, I promised myself I'd work on this article today.

Simply because I am in awe of GOD.

That's really the bottom line.

He explains events and mysteries to the faithful, and curious.

His SPIRIT leads you to pure, perfect, and precise clues.

Even the EXACT verses.

GOD speaks through Scripture.

He spoke through the Numerics book.

In a way I can understand perfectly.

And in a way that amazes me.

Of course, my brother's troubles were beyond gout.

There were many other complications, thus the stay at ICU.

As I miss him dearly, GOD supplies verses that explain things.

Giving me strength, courage, clarity, and comfort.

He will make me get through this new challenge.

I know my brother was not a believer as I was.

I know he wasn't born again.

But as he bore through his pain, I spoke to him of JESUS.

How JESUS is "The MAGNIFICENT Healer".

I told him that doctors can only do so much.

But he must call on JESUS for help, health, and healing.

I don't know if he resisted, or if he believed.

But there was a time he woke up crying.

Or was he dreaming, and crying?

I honestly don't know.

But he cried his heart out, and I let him.

JESUS was probably communicating with him.

I really don't know, but it felt like it.

That moment was so sacred, I didn't want to interrupt.

I just let my brother go through his "process".

GOD gave me the gift of time in caring for my brother.

Those precious 39 days will forever remain in my memory.

Even as I have watched over my brother most of his life.

It is an honor being assigned to watch over him as he fell ill.

Who could have known he would eventually go home, but GOD?

Genesis 2:7

7 And the Lord God formed man 

of the dust of the ground, 

and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; 

and man became a living soul.

Ecclesiastes 12:7

7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: 

and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

James 4:14-15

14 Whereas ye know not 

what shall be on the morrow. 

For what is your life? 

It is even a vapour, 

that appeareth for a little time, 

and then vanisheth away.

15 For that ye ought to say, 

If the Lord will, we shall live, 

and do this, or that.

Cherish every moment with your loved ones.

Honor GOD above everything else.

Love others, as JESUS taught us.

Be quick to hear the call of those suffering.

There is joy in volunteering to care for others.

The important thing is caring for them, as best as we can.

Even with the limited knowledge we all have.

Our desire must always be to love others, and please the LORD.

Interestingly, two days before my brother got sick, I was praying to JESUS.

To please lead me to people who need help.

And to let Him teach me what to think, say, and do.

And that I don't want to miss a cry, or a call.

Two days after, He led me to my brother.

That's why I volunteered to care for him.

He's the "assignment" given me.

My brother passed on in the 6th.

It's now the 18th -- 12 days after.

The number 12 is "GOVERNMENTAL PERFECTION".

That's how the LORD presides -- always in perfection.

GOD kept me busy, so I won't be sad.

He is truly merciful.

I remember many fond moments about my brother.

He lived simply, and left simply.

GOD bless my beloved brother, Ramon!

We shall see each other one day again.

And in that time,

In Christian Answers, "Asa" means "physician".

Specifically, he was third king of Judah, and fifth king of the House of David, at one time.

The DELIGHTFUL president

 

Psalm 112:1-3

112 Praise ye the Lord. 

Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, 

that delighteth greatly in his commandments.

2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth: 

the generation of the upright shall be blessed.

3 Wealth and riches shall be in his house:

I had no idea SPIRIT's other plans for me.

Didn't think "politics" would be part of it.

But He made me observe America.

Whether it was Bible prophecy.

Or even the recent 2024 elections.

He got me to observe her pre-elections.

Starting with writing a 22 July 2024 post:

"The U.S. remains the most powerful nation on earth, at the moment.

Her future president's policies will affect EVERY country in the world.

Probably more than at any other time in history.

Only because nothing in the world makes sense anymore.

It is critical the U.S. elect a worthy president.

A staunch, and GOD-fearing one."

That was also the first time I mentioned the name, "Trump", as well as observing how the Biden administration had greatly failed America:

What have I observed since Trump stepped down in 2020?

Some "controlled demolition", owing to strange policies.

Did America get her "GOD-fearing" president?

She sure did!

Through an incident that made Trump acknowledge GOD.

He "zinged" his ear, so he would "hear".

Actually, it was a gunman who did.

But GOD "allowed" it to happen at a rally.

(Only GOD has power over our lives.)

Making sure Trump was spared.

He had a "plan", for the "man".

In the chaos, Trump momentarily ducked for cover.

But his "political" instincts knew he must get up.

(Even eliciting Putin's "admiration" -- "That's a man!")

A reporter overheard Trump asking where his shoes were.

("A decent president must not be without shoes" -- that's our take on it.)

And right away, he stood up, shaking his right fist in the air.

All the while saying, "Fight, fight, fight!"

That became an iconic moment.

We've written about Trump's policies, and exploits.

For this article, we'll share some of his hilarities.

For Trump is "entertaining"; not "theatrical".

He's got a masculine, no-nonsense form of humor.

The first time I heard him say B.S. at a rally, it didn't come off offensive at all.

Even the crowd laughed at how he said it.

Though, of course, a pastor told him to go easy on "cussing".

He's also a great story-teller.

The crowd roars at his stories.

He's won our hearts.

Days ago, he was at a rally in Las Vegas.

Only Trump would have a "rally", after people have already voted for him.

But that's his way of thanking the people, and connecting with them.

He mentioned something about "taxmen" (IRS agents) carrying guns.

(Biden allowed them to.)

Trump suggested a new job for Biden's henchmen.

Post them at the borders.

You can imagine the crowd's reaction.

To this moment, I haven't stopped laughing.

If you know anything about Trump, he's got some nifty ideas.

People, and nations, warm up to it.

Now, they're following his example.

Borders are being "secured".

Unsavory aliens are being sent "home".

Weak and uncaring leaders are being called out.

People are beginning to find their voice.

And all because Trump started it first.

That's the influence GOD set him for.

He has no qualms about shocking the elite at Davos.

He fearlessly declared his American policies, and programs.

Before you know it, the world's top bankers were mulling upon it.

He got them thinking.

The WEF is so dull, while he's so spirited.

Admit it, or not, they like "picking" on his brain.

He's got a businessman's brain.

And now, a wiser political one.

Most of all, he's got GOD.

Belligerent Bass, mayor of California, had the nerve to argue with him.

He also reminded her he was a "builder".

He set her right with his practical policies on letting the homeowners clean up their homes, as they wanted to.

They couldn't wait for her administration to do so.

Yes, in a week, she said.

Nope, in 24 hours, he said.

People clapped.

One official spoke of what California needed.

He butted in with one word -- "Water."

He stated the obvious.

Even the officials had to laugh.

He made sure CA officials looked into the state's water, the people's insurance, and fire prevention measures.

After his visits to hurricane-torn Asheville, North Carolina, fire-razed California, he went to his rally at Las Vegas.

What happens in 'Vegas, didn't stay in 'Vegas.

His speeches rolled all over the world.

'Vegas loves him, and he loves 'Vegas.

Trump is a sports "buff".

He was with Dana White, Universal Fighting Championship (UFC) head, at the 'Vegas rally.

He is grateful to Trump, for having supported him, when no one would.

I was waiting for Trump to roll the dice, or something.

I wondered if a "sitting" president could do that.

He did, briefly, and I think he won also.

But Trump has always been smart.

As he said before, he doesn't "gamble".

He "owns the casino", and unapologetic about it.

(I think he was talking about his Atlantic City casino then.)

He conserves his energy for more important things.

Leading America, for one.

He's bold, brazen, and true.

And his honesty is refreshing.

I've "known" Trump decades ago, from reading his books.

It's safe to say, I've known his will, ways, words, and wisdom 30 years already.

Even I'm amazed that it's been that long, duh.

And all I did was read his "funny" books.

GOD "reserved" this time for me to study Trump further.

He sought the Reform Party 2000 nomination, but backed out after three months.

I've also read the book he "wrote", regarding that experience:

"The America We Deserve"

"The book lists and details a set of policy proposals Trump intended to implement should he ever become president."

Some books had co-writers in it.

That book was "ghostwritten", with Trump.

Nevertheless, the words are still very much "Trump".

The tone is his, in his bold, and yet conversational, way.

Trump has always got that "chutzpah" in him.

This much I know --

GOD appointed him to be president.

Because America was fooled, failing, and foolish.

Deceived, Democratic-ized, DEI-ized, and "dying".

They voted the wrong party.

Now, they got their heads on right.

They voted the GOD-appointed party.

The one that doesn't like the left, the woke, and DEI.

Things can only go wrong if Trump gets "all proud, and forgetful".

As in a boxing ring, he's been hit too many times.

And still came out standing, and fighting.

GOD made sure he's made of strong, Scottish stuff.

He's got plans for this funny one.

Trump jokingly asks Mike Johnson, if he can run for president another round.

I didn't hear what the secretary of state muttered.

But I learned that Johnson didn't think much of him once:

"I am afraid he would break more things than he fixes. He is a hot head by nature, and that is a dangerous trait to have in a Commander in Chief...I just don't think he has the demeanor to be President."

You see, that's the thing about Trump.

He doesn't mind challenges.

He doesn't care what people think of him.

Former critics are all praises for him now.

Johnson, Vance, and Rubio, are part of his team now.

These three will make good presidents, one day, GOD-willing.

For now, they're being mentored by GOD's appointed president.

Trump is not selfish with power.

Sure, he enjoys the perks, the power, and the prestige.

But he loves delegating to young, smart people.

He loves listening to their ideas.

He's not "tyrannical", as the left media paints him.

He wants to be known as "peacemaker", and "unifier".

And yes, he's also a "firer".

The day Trump doesn't want politics anymore, he can be a stand-up comic.

He's got the wit, the words, the wisdom, the timing.

He's just being himself, and people laugh.

I laugh almost every time I hear him talk.

I was laughing last night at bed time.

Telling myself I'll write this article.

He'll never run out of things to do.

His critics, 95% of old media, pull him down to this day.

But some, occasionally, ride his wagon, curious.

They need the "ratings".

Trump's "hot" material these days.

And oftentimes, their finicky feathers get singed.

Not the same feather, that's why.

He wants his citizens protected, at all costs.

That's America's president!

That's why GOD gave him the job.

Because he endured the "jabs".

Refused the "jab".

And gave the "jobs".

He doesn't like that "jab" nonsense.

He took away Fauci's security detail lately.

He also reinstated American soldiers who lost their jobs.

All because they refused the jab.

He also gave them back their "back pay".

That's "the Trump way".

Always a way, through problems.

And having real connection with people.

America feels his love.

There will be no more "purple" hair in the military.

No more "purple" rain.

"Purple" hearts"?

SURE!

He's not perfect.

He's got many "sins", as we all do.

But GOD chose him, for this PERFECT moment.

Of leading the nation, once in GREAT danger of "judgment".

That much I knew as far back as 2019.

America's back on track!

Like Trump, she's been given another chance to do better.

And may she continue this course.

Of honoring the LORD first.

And being grateful for everything.

Especially being gifted with a warrior president.

Now, if only America would be born again.

They have no idea what JESUS could do.

How GOD deals with EVIL

Psalm 37:13-15

We all know what happened to Israel on October 7.

How seven nations have ganged up on her.

How do you think GOD will respond?

Israel's enemies can expect this from the LORD:

And if you think unbelieving Jews are spared, witness how an evil spirit dealt with SEVEN exorcists who tried speaking in the name of JESUS:

Even evil knows a "fake" when it sees one.

And responds accordingly.

Evil only challenges GOD.

The SOURCE of ALL TRUE POWER.

That's why it persecutes Israel, whom He loves.

Evil is that bold, brash, and brazen.

Wanting a real fight.

Well, he shall have it.

GOD doesn't play "favorites".

If you are in sin, you are in sin.

GOD will deal with that.

In the same manner, His salvation is for all.

Romans 10:13

shall be saved.

Galatians 3:28-29

28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, 

there is neither bond nor free,

So, don't challenge GOD.

We're no match for the LORD.

If you're not born again, don't expect to know GOD's ways.
