17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink;
but righteousness,
and peace,
and joy in the Holy Ghost.
What does it mean to be a student of Spirit?
To be a student means you await instruction.
You wish to learn.
If you wish to be taught by SPIRIT, here's what it means:
You wish to live right by God.
You want to know His laws.
You want to know your sins.
You desire to be corrected.
Your heart is open to His teachings.
You want to know everything about Jesus.
You want to know ABSOLUTE TRUTH.
You are actively seeking God.
When you're all that, then GOD will show up.
And lead you to Scripture.
His SPIRIT will start teaching you.
Making things clear, and simple.
You will be led to all things JESUS.
If you have no ego, you will definitely become an excellent student.
You will delight in the LORD's teachings.
Remember to be childlike.
Kids are always eager to learn.
If you have ego, you will be sorely offended.
You will rebel, and rage.
As student of Spirit, we were meant to be corrected.
Proverbs 3:12
King James Version
12 For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth;
even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.
If you are a student of Spirit, you cannot have ego.
JESUS was our model, for perfect obedience to the FATHER.
Where ego is, there's pride.
Where pride is, you will resist learning.
GOD hates pride.
Proverbs 16:5

5 Every one that is proud in heart
is an abomination to the Lord:
though hand join in hand,
he shall not be unpunished.
So, are you ready to be a student of Spirit?
If so, pray to JESUS for help.
He'd know what to do for you.
Only the LORD can guide you.
